Unlocked Potential

Somehow, someone or something has unleashed your inner potential, drawing upon the latent powers from within you, and awakening your hidden strength. Unlock Potential is an empowered state of being brought on by an outside force, thus allowing you to use your full potential at the time. Unlock Potential doesn’t have any outward appearance changes and you can gain Unlock Potential multiple times.

You can only get Unlocked Potential once from any one source. For example, if you had your potential unlocked by the Ultra Divine Water, even if you drank it again and succeeded at the Saving Throw, you would not gain this Manifested Power again. This also applies to having your potential unlocked by other characters – only once per each character.

Potential. You may increase the Natural Result of your base d10 on a Combat Roll by +1, after you have made that roll but before you know the result. You can use this effect a number of times per Combat Round equal to the current number of Unlocked Potential stacks you have gained. This effect cannot stack (see – Double Dip).

Reduce the penalty from Botch Results by -2 for each stack of Unlocked Potential you have gained. At 3+ stacks, whenever you would score a Botch Result, you can choose not to and increase your Natural Result by +2 instead.

Power Unleashed. Increase the bonus to your Combat Rolls from the Power Up Maneuver by +1 for each instance of Unlocked Potential you have gained. If your Combat Rolls have been increased by +2(T) or more from the benefits of the Power Up Maneuver, you may apply your Tier of Power Extra Dice (minimum. 1d4) to your Wound Rolls an additional time.
