Factor Trait

DNA Absorption (Body): You have the unique ability to absorb more of your targets than just their abilities, taking a very piece of them even after they’ve escaped you.
(1)-[Triggered, Ruling]: Upon gaining a stack of Absorption, gain a ‘DNA Copy’ of that stack’s Absorbed Character. You can only possess up to 3 DNA Copies. If you would gain any more DNA Copies, you would have to replace one of the DNA Copies you possess.
(2)-[Triggered/Power, 1/Round, 3/Encounter]: Choose a DNA Copy, then gain a stack of Absorption as a Level 2 Temporary Awakening with that DNA Copy as the Absorbed Character. If you already have a stack of Absorption from this effect, then when triggering this effect you may replace that stack of Absorption with one using a different DNA Copy.

DNA Copy

A DNA Copy is a perfect copy of a Character, though that copy doesn’t exist as a Character, but rather as something that can be used as an Absorbed Character for Absorption through the effects of DNA Absorption. A DNA Copy is a perfect copy of the Character, possessing everything that Character has; their Power Level, Race, any Subraces or Factors, Talents, Transformations, Apparel, Weapons, Signature Techniques, Unique Abilities, etc at the time it was recorded.

DNA Copies have a few rules that apply to the Absorption Awakening:

• If the only stack of Absorption as a Temporary Awakening you possess is one that uses a DNA Copy as the Absorbed Character, you may ignore the 5th effect of Assimilated Power.
• If you lose a stack of Absorption using a DNA Copy as the Absorbed Character, then no Absorbed Character is freed or produced due to the 7th effect of Assimilated Power as the DNA Copy doesn’t exist as a Character.
• You cannot gain a stack of Absorption with a DNA Copy as a non-Temporary Awakening, even if you trigger the 8th effect of Assimilated Power.
