Full Power Boost

Strength is everything. You know that. The limits that are holding you back, limiting the strength that you can exert, are nothing but another enemy. By breaking through those limits, you are able to enter this Legendary Form. Your power erupts, your aura alone becoming strong enough to leave visible plumes of flaming energy across the environment while making space itself quake under your might.

Full Power Boost

  • Race. Any

Strongest Fighter. Once per Combat Round, when you use the Power Up Maneuver, you may gain 1 stack of Power. Each stack of Power increases your Combat Rolls by +1(T). You can have up to 2 stacks of Power.

Reduce the Ki Point Cost of all Maneuvers by -2(T). For each stack of Power, increase the Ki Point Cost of all Maneuvers by +1(T).

All or Nothing. While you have 2+ stacks of Power, increase your Tier of Power by an additional +1 (see – Breakthrough).

While you have 0 stacks of Power, gain Initiative Advantage (regardless of your current Initiative).

Once per Combat Encounter, you may spend 2 stacks of Power and One Action to use a Power Surge Maneuver. If you do so, you may use the Power Up Maneuver as an Out-of-Sequence Action.

Invincible. While your Tier of Power is equal to higher than the Tier of Power of all of your opponents in a Combat Encounter, increase your base Soak Value by x2. If an opponent is 2+ Tiers of Power lower than you, they cannot inflict any Negative Combat Conditions to you through their Traits, Talents or effects. They can still cause you to suffer from Negative Combat Conditions through maneuvers such as the Thrust Maneuver or through the Grapple Maneuver.

While you have no stacks of Holding Back, increase your Tier of Power by +1 (see – Breakthrough). 

Full Power Boost Mastery. When you gain Mastery for the Full Power Boost transformation, you gain the following benefits:

  • True Strength. Replace the Strainless Aspect with the Natural Form Aspect.
  • Overflowing Power. Increase the maximum number of Power stacks you can have to 3.

Super Full Power Boost

  • Race. Any

Surpass the Strongest (Strongest Fighter). Once per Combat Round, when you use the Power Up Maneuver, you may gain 1 stack of Power. Each stack of Power increases your Combat Rolls by +1(T). You can have up to 2 stacks of Power.

For each stack of Power you possess, increase your Tier of Power by +1 and gain +2 levels of the Draining Aspect. This increase to your Tier of Power affects Ki Point Costs but otherwise benefits from the typical rules for Breakthrough.

Overwhelm the Weak (All or Nothing). When targeted by an Attacking Maneuver of an opponent who has a lower Tier of Power than you, increase your Soak Value by +2(T) before any other calculations.

When you target an opponent who has a lower Tier of Power than you with an Attacking Maneuver, increase your Strike Rolls by +1(T). Additionally, if they are 2+ Tiers of Power lower than you, increase the Damage Category of this Attacking Maneuver by +1 (Standard becomes Direct, Direct becomes Lethal).

Once per Combat Encounter, if you fail the Stress Test for this Transformation and have 2+ stacks of Power, you may reduce your current number of Power Stacks to 0 to automatically pass that Stress Test instead.

Burn the Foolish. Your ki is so intense that it burns away the space around you and engulfs your battlefield in flames. When you use the Power Up Maneuver, you can spend 3(T) Ki Points to make all characters within your Melee Range who have an equal or lower Tier of Power than you make an Opposed Ability Check against you, using either their Force or Spirit (whichever is highest) against your Force or Spirit (whichever is highest). If they win, nothing happens. If they lose, they suffer Lethal Damage equal to your Force or Spirit Modifier (whicher is highest) and are moved back a number of squares equal to 1/2 of your Force or Spirit Modifier (whichever is highest). The target can make an Acrobatics Skill Check, TN Medium. If they pass, reduce the distance they are moved back by 1/2.

At the start of each Combat Round, all opponents within X number of squares of you suffer Lethal Damage equal to 1/2 of your Force or Spirit Modifier (whichever is higher). X is equal to 2x your current number of Power stacks.

Destroy the Rival. Once per Combat Encounter, if your current Tier of Power is 3+ Tiers of Power higher than your base Tier of Power and there are no opponents who have a lower current Tier of Power than you, you may spend One Action to gain +1 stack of Power. This stack of Power can exceed your maximum number of Power stacks. If you use this effect, increase the Stress Test Requirement for Super Full Power Boost by +4.

Super Full Power Boost Mastery. Mastery for Super Full Power Boost can be gained twice. Each time you gain mastery for Super Full Power Boost, reduce the level of the Draining Aspect you gain for each stack of Power by -1. When you gain Mastery for Super Full Power Boost, you gain these bonuses in order of Mastery:

  • Control the Aura. The increase to your Tier of Power from each stack of Power uses the full rules for Breakthrough. Remove the Exhausting Aspect.
  • Crush the Gods. Increase the maximum number of Power stacks you can have by +1.

Legendary Traits

Greater Power. Increase your Attribute Modifier Bonuses (FO/SP) for all Transformations with ‘Power Boost’ in their name by +1(T). This effect only applies to the first stage if that Transformation has multiple stages (see – Stacking Power and Legendary Scaling).

For each stack of Holding Back you possess, regain +3(T) Ki Points (using your base ToP) at the start of each Combat Round.

Greater Power II. Any Attacking Maneuvers made against a character with a lower Tier of Power have Superiority on their Combat Rolls. Additionally, if an opponent is 2+ Tiers of Power lower than you and uses a Talent, Trait, Magical Ability or effect that would cause you to roll an Opposed Saving Throw against them, gain Superiority on that Saving Throw.
