Genetic Max

Genetic engineering has its limits… or does it? Due to some genetic modifications, you’ve been altered in such a way as to greatly increase your destructive power. Only time can tell what will become of you after achieving this new height, this Genetic Max.

Overwhelming Perfection. When making an Attacking Maneuver against an opponent, treat that opponent as if they were -1 Size Category smaller for the sake of Punching Down. For each stack of Perfection you have access to, treat your opponent as if they were an additional -1 Size Category smaller for this effect.

When you first gain access to Genetic Max, you may trade out any number of your Genetic Splicing options to increase the Attribute Modifier Bonuses (AG/FO/TE/SP) of this Manifested Power by +2. Additionally, for each Genetic Splicing option you traded out, you maintain the chosen Race for the effects of the Genetic Focus Racial Trait, the Atavism Trait and the Genetic Combination Trait. For Atavism, replace the option for that selected Race with ‘Increase the Attribute Modifier Bonuses (AG/FO/TE/SP) of this Manifested Power by +1’.

Unstoppable Creation. When making any type of Attacking Maneuver, you may spend 2 Perfect Points to gain +1 Energy Charge on that Attacking Maneuver. Genetic Max counts as Perfection when calculating your maximum number of Perfect Points (see: Perfection).

Additionally, when you first gain access to Genetic Max, you may gain a Trait below based on your subrace:

  • Instant Study (Familiar). Lose access to the Rapid Learning Racial Trait. Instead, at the start of each of your turns, you may select one combatant. That combatant must declare their highest base Attribute Modifier (among AG/FO/TE/IN/SP). Increase your base Attribute modifier for the declared Attribute by +2(T) until the start of your next turn. If they declared Force or Spirit, you may select to increase either Force or Spirit, or increase both by +1(T).
  • Organic Destruction (Uncanny). Lose access to the Organic Consumption Racial Trait. Instead, once per Combat Round, you may make a Basic Attack Maneuver of any type as an Instant Action. If you do, increase the Damage Category of that Attacking Maneuver by +1. If it was already Lethal, increase the Wound Roll by +3(T).
