
With a perfect mix of half Nature energy and half Ki, no more, no less, your body becomes lighter, your every motion easier to control. Though Nature energy can be limited, harnessing it gives you the power of Mother Nature herself. After blending enough Nature energy, your features change to reflect the balance at the very edge of your Self. They become closer to those of an animal, colored marks forming around your eyes; the marks of a true Sage.

Nature’s Power: Nature becomes you, and you become Nature. With your mastery over its methods, Nature’s energy and your own become one and the same.
-[Permanent]: You cannot enter this Transformation except through the effects of the Gather Natural Energy Special Maneuver, and this Transformation cannot be used in conjunction with a Transformation that has the God Ki Aspect.
-[Automatic/Transform, Resource]: Gain Nature Ki equal to 1/2 of your Maximum Ki Points (ignoring any modification from the effects of Ki Multiplier). Your maximum amount of Nature Ki is equal to the amount you gain through this effect.
-[Automatic]: If your amount of Nature Ki is reduced to 0, or you use an Attacking Maneuver that you cannot pay the Nature Ki Point Cost for, you immediately leave this Transformation (you do not suffer from Stress Exhaustion).
-[Passive]: Halve the amount of Ki Points lost from the Draining Aspect, but you lose an equal amount of Nature Ki.
-[Passive]: When making an Attacking Maneuver, you only spend Ki Points equal to 1/2 of the Ki Point Cost for that Attacking Maneuver. Then, you spend an equal amount of Nature Ki. Additionally, increase the Wound Roll of that Attacking Maneuver by the amount of Nature Ki spent.
-[Triggered]: When making an Attacking Maneuver, you can increase the amount of Nature Ki that must be spent by up to 3(T).
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: If you use the Signature Technique Maneuver, you may increase the amount of Nature Ki that must be spent by up to 3(T). This effect stacks with the 6th effect of Nature’s Power.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: If you would gain Nature Energy while in Sage Form, regain Nature Ki equal to 1/10th of your Maximum Ki Points (ignoring any modification from the effects of Ki Multiplier) for each Nature Energy gained.
Manner of Sage: With the experience gathered in your training, you begin to forge your very own Sage way.
-[Passive]: Increase your Tier of Power Extra Dice by Z Dice Categories, using Z from your Sage Training Manifested Power.
-[Triggered]: If you are targeted by the Power Drain Maneuver or the Energy Drain Unique Ability, and the Character who is targeting you does not possess the Sage Training Manifested Power, they gain a stack of Slowed for every 5(bT) Ki Points you lost through the effects of their Maneuver for the remainder of the Combat Encounter.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: If you gain Nature Ki, you may either enter the Superior State until the end of your turn, or enter the Mindful State until the end of your next turn.
-[Permanent, Option]: Upon gaining access to this Transformation, select one of the effects listed below:
- Bestial Sage [Permanent, Passive]: Select 2 Bestial Traits. You gain those Bestial Traits while in this Transformation.
- Perfect Sage [Permanent, Passive]: Select an Attribute (except Force or Magic). Increase the Attribute Modifier Bonus of this Transformation for Force, Magic, and your selected Attribute by 1(T).
- Reckless Sage [Triggered/Start of Turn]: You may reduce your Life Points by 1/20th of your Maximum Life Points to use the Gather Nature Energy Special Maneuver as an Out-of-Sequence Maneuver.
-[Permanent, Option]: Upon gaining access to this Transformation, select one of the effects listed below:
- Style of the Sage [Triggered, 1/Round]: If an Opponent you targeted with an Attacking Maneuver takes no Damage from that Attacking Maneuver for any reason (dodged, Damage was reduced to 0, etc), you may reduce the Life Points of that Opponent by the amount of Nature Ki spent on that Attacking Maneuver.
- Power of the Sage [Triggered, 1/Encounter]: If you enter another Transformation or Aura while in Sage Form, you increase the Attribute Modifier Bonus (FO/MA) of Sage Form by 1(T) until you leave that Transformation or Aura.
- Breath of the Sage [1/Round]: You may spend 1 Action and 5(T) Nature Ki to create a Minion. If you do, that Minion appears on any square you choose within a Destructive Sphere AoE (centered on you) and acts as if you had targeted it with the Command Maneuver this Combat Round. This Minion is erased at the end of the Combat Encounter.
Burst Limit
Arrival of the Sage: The absorption of Nature energy into yourself mends your wounds, filling you with the energy that only a Sage possesses.
-[Triggered/Transform]: Regain Life Points equal to the amount of Nature Ki you gained through the second effect of Nature’s Power. Then, you may use any Maneuver with an Action Cost of 1 Standard Action as an Out-of-Sequence Maneuver.
Unlimited Trait
Sage Awakening: Few have become Sages, and fewer still dared to push themselves further, to truly know what it means to become one with Nature.
-[Triggered/Unlimited]: Double your maximum amount of Nature Ki while in the Unlimited State.
-[Passive]: Double the amount of Nature Energy you gain from the Gather Natural Energy Maneuver.
-[Passive]: Double the value of Z (from Sage Training).
-[Passive]: Increase the amount of Nature Ki you can spend through the 6th and 7th effects of Nature’s Energy by 2(T).
-[Triggered/Start of Turn]: You may spend any amount of Nature Ki to regain an equal amount of Ki Points.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: If you are hit by an Attacking Maneuver, you may spend up to 5(T) Nature Ki to increase your Soak Value by an equal amount for the duration of that Attacking Maneuver.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: If you would use a Unique Ability, you may halve the Ki Point Cost of that Unique Ability. If you do, you must spend a number of Nature Ki equal to the (new) Ki point Cost of that Unique Ability.
