Your way of fighting revolves around using the techniques of others. While you’ll never be called original, you’ll have the last laugh when you’re throwing back the techniques of those who doubt you.

Dedicated Learning: Your ability and dedication to copying the techniques of others is far greater than most, but this training has left you unable to create any truly original techniques of your own.
-[Option]: Upon gaining access to this Transformation, select and gain access to one of the following effects:
- Pure Mimic [Passive]: Any TP you currently have and any TP you gain from any source can only be spent for the second effect of Quick Learner, or to gain Advantages or remove Disadvantages on Signature Techniques you know.
- Opportune Mimic [Passive]: Increase the base TP Cost of all Signature Techniques that you create (except by the second effect of the Quick Learner Talent) by 7. This effect does not apply to Signature Techniques you created before gaining this Transformation.
-[Choice]: Depending on your choice for the Option effect of Dedicated Learning, apply the following effects:
- Pure Mimic [Passive]: Increase the Dice Category of your Energy Charges applied to a Signature Technique by 1 Category. Additionally, reduce the Ki Point Cost of all Copied Techniques gained during this Combat Encounter by 2(T).
- Opportune Mimic [Triggered]: Whenever you declare a Signature Technique as a Copied Technique, you may apply an applicable Advantage with a TP cost of 10 or lower to that Copied Technique until the end of the Combat Encounter. The selected Advantage is removed before applying the second effect of Quick Learner. Additionally, upon declaring a Signature Technique as a Copied Technique, reduce the Critical Target of all of your Combat Rolls made with that Signature Technique by 1 until the end of the Combat Encounter.
-[Triggered, 1/Encounter]: If you or an Ally are hit by a Character’s Signature Technique, you may use the second effect of Quick Learner on that Signature Technique (as if it were your Copied Technique) as an Out-of-Sequence Maneuver. You must be able to pay for its TP cost to use this effect.
Honed Mimicry: As your aptitude with copying techniques improves, you gain greater benefits from them.
-[Passive]: Whenever you gain a Talent with ‘Quick Learner’ as a prerequisite, gain the Mimicry Trait listed below based on the Talent noted in brackets.
-[Passive]: Increase the Wound Rolls of your Copied Techniques by 2(T). If you have the Majin See, Majin Do Racial Trait, you do not gain this effect.
-[Passive]: You may ignore the effects of any Disadvantage with ‘Restricted’ in its name on any Signature Technique you have gained through the effects of Quick Learner (either as Copied Techniques or those you have gained through the second effect of Quick Learner).
Mimicry Traits
Enduring Mimicry (Perfect Mimicry): Your dedication to copying techniques has also given you knowledge of how to best defend against them.
-[Triggered]: If you gain access to a Signature Technique due to the third effect of Dedicated Learning, that Signature Technique is treated as a Copied Technique until the end of the Combat Encounter.
-[Passive]: Gain 1(bT) Damage Reduction against Signature Techniques that you have access to.
Copy Library (Copy Index): Your capacity for learning mimicked techniques is above and beyond most others.
-[Passive]: The Keywords for the third effect of Dedicated Learning becomes [1/Round, 1(bT)/Encounter].
-[Passive]: The first effect of the Copy Index Talent instead increases your maximum number of Copied Techniques to 1(bT)+1.
Advanced Imitation (Advanced Learner): Not only can you masterfully copy the techniques of your opponents, but your mimicry knowledge now expands to the more unique kinds of abilities.
-[Passive]: You may apply the third effect of Dedicated Learning to Unique Abilities that target you or an Ally if they would cause a Clash through their effects.
-[Choice]: Depending on your choice for the Option effect of Dedicated Learning, apply the following effects:
- Pure Mimic [Passive]: You may spend TP to purchase Advancements for Unique Abilities you know. As well, further reduce the TP cost of any Signature Technique or Unique Ability gained at the end of a Combat Encounter by 3.
- Opportune Mimic [Triggered]: Whenever you gain access to a Unique Ability through the second effect of Advanced Learner, you may apply an applicable Advancement that you meet the Prerequisites for with a TP cost of 10 or lower to that Unique Ability until the end of the Combat Encounter. The selected Advancement is removed before applying the third effect of Advanced Learner. Additionally, upon gaining access to a Unique Ability during a Combat Encounter, reduce the Critical Target of any Clashes you would make through that Unique Ability’s effects by 1 until the end of the Combat Encounter.
