A Welcome Challenge: You are strong enough to compete without transforming like some warriors, and you relish the chance to show them up.
-[Triggered/Start of Turn]: Target an Opponent – they become the Challenger until the start of your next turn. Apply your Tier of Power Extra Dice an additional time for all Combat Rolls against the Challenger.
-[Triggered, 1/Encounter]: If you Defeat the Challenger or knock the Challenger through the Injured/Critical Health Threshold, enter the Superior State until the end of your next turn.
A Show of Skill: Your techniques alone make you a formidable opponent, and with them, you are ready to take on any fight, any opponent.
-[Permanent]: Awoken’s Racial Requirement is also considered to be your Race for the sake of any effects.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: When you target the Challenger with a Signature Technique, that Attacking Maneuver gains an Energy Charge.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: When you target the Challenger with a Basic Attack, you may apply an Advantage to that Attacking Maneuver that it qualifies for.
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: When you make a Might Clash or a Clash that uses one of your Saving Throws against your Challenger, increase the Dice Score by 1(T).
-[Triggered, 1/Round]: When you make a Skill Clash against your Challenger, increase the Natural Result of that roll by 1.
A Great Determination: You refuse to be put down by those who you deem weaker than yourself.
-[Permanent]: If you apply Power Improvement: Surpass to this Transformation, apply Power Improvement: Control to it as well (even if this Transformation is still a Transcendent Enhancement).
-[Passive]: Increase the amount of Life and Ki Points you regain through a Surge or Combat Recovery by 1d4(bT). Increase the Dice Category of this bonus by 1 Category for each Health Threshold you are below.
-[Triggered/Defeated]: If the Challenger is below the Bruised Health Threshold, immediately use a Healing Surge as an Out-of-Sequence Maneuver.

An Uphill Battle: You’re prepared against even terrible odds.
-[Triggered/Transform]: Until the end of your next turn, all of your Opponents are treated as Challengers for your effects. If you target an Opponent that is being treated as a Challenger through this effect with the first effect of A Welcome Challenge, increase your Strike and Wound Rolls against that target by 1(T) and 3(T) respectively until the start of your next turn.
